Client is looking for an Atlanta-based evaluation researcher who will work with the teams program managers to design and conduct program evaluations for college-level, on-campus career readiness programs in the Atlanta area. As part of a pilot launch, you will have primary responsibility for designing and executing an internal program evaluation strategy (primarily formative, with some summative goals) that fits within the constraints of available time and effort, and that can adapt to lessons learned on the ground mid-program.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

- Starting from high-level goals, program descriptions, and key performance indicators, create a program evaluation strategy that fits within the constraints of what data can be collected, both tactically and within the limits of privacy policies.

- Think flexibly about how to provide answers at the right level of certainty for the decision at hand, identifying and communicating tradeoffs in reliability, validity, causal inference, and cost among different options.

- As needed, create or adapt survey instruments, conduct in-person observations (subject to COVID safety protocols), and interview program participants.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

- MA/MS degree in behavioral, learning, or social sciences, or equivalent practical experience.

- 2+ years experience conducting program evaluations in an educational setting.

- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and experience analyzing DEI factors within program evaluation.

- Experience creating surveys, classroom observation protocols, and interview protocols, as well as managing/conducting data collection in each of these formats.

- Ability to quantitatively analyze survey and observational data, including assessing reliability (e.g., Cronbachs alpha, ICC) and conducting the appropriate statistical tests (e.g., t-tests, ANOVA, multiple regression, chi-square tests).

- Experience working with institutional review boards, minimizing the collection of sensitive data, and being a good steward of sensitive data.

- Subject to COVID risk levels and depending on evaluation design, ability to travel to the downtown Atlanta area as needed to conduct in-person observations, possibly including occasional night or weekend hours.

- Able to manage project logistics, working within program timeframes, communicating dependencies to other program managers, and meeting deadlines for approval and data collection.
