Automotive Service Manager
Bolton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Council Grove is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Manager to join their dynamic service team.
The Service Manager is responsible for all operations within the service department - from hiring and managing technicians and service advisors to customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
Serving as a liaison between service technicians and customers
Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression on the customer
Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
Interview and make new hires
Monitor the Distribution of work between technicians
Prioritize required services
Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
Spend quality time building relationships with the customers
Job Requirements:
At least 1-year previous service manager experience or 3+ years experience as a service advisor at a dealership
Chrysler experience is a plus but not required
Technical automotive knowledge
Demonstrated ability to manage others
Organized and friendly personality
Computer proficiency
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and must be able to pass pre-employment requirements including a drug test and background screen
