Procurement Specialist- $20/hour+ Based on Experience

Manpower of Central Illinois is hiring for a Procurement Specialist in the Decatur area. The position will not last long. Apply today for immediate consideration – we are waiting for your call.

Shift Currently Available:

• First shift- 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with operational stakeholders and third-party contracting companies to ensure compliance and mitigate the risk of bringing third parties on site to perform work.

• Collect information such as certificates of insurance, safety records, drug, and background screening information, etc and enter this information into our contractor database.

• Support Category Specialists with sourcing events by participating on sourcing teams, scheduling meeting, data analysis, collect and understand internal customer requirements, external market data and research, etc.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of contract law and ability to negotiate contractor agreements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn systems such as Coupa, PowerBi, eSourcing platforms, etc.

• Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and email.

• Basic Excel knowledge, basic procurement knowledge.

• Must have excellence attendance and punctuality.
